Cards for boys!

Hello everyone,

I hope that you have had a good week. Well I have been complete Casing Claire Daly this week. I thought I should try some male cards as I mostly love doing flower cards and sadly neglecting the male cards of any kind I suppose. Well I have just gotten the set Seaworthy from Stampin' Up which I had had my eye on for a while and finally bit the bullet and bought it. I am really happy with the results as well. They are totally the same as Claire's designs but sometimes I think if it ain't broke don't fix it. Well here they are, hope you like them.

for this one I have used Baja Breeze, Night of Navy, River Rock, and whisper white card stock. Vera Mark, Baja Breeze, Night of Navy ink. White embossing powder, antique eyelets, hemp twine, crop-a-dile, and the heat gun. The back ground stamp is linen.

This card again using the seaworthy set and the whimsical words set uses baja breeze, river rock and whisper white card stock, chocolate chip DSP, river rock ribbon, choclate chip ink and if you look really close a couple of markers on the water and boat.

These 2 cards I just love again cased from Claire. I have used night of navy, river rock, baja breeze and whisper white card stock, Urban garden dsp antique jumbo eyelets. On one card I used the baja breeze ink and the other night of navy. The background stamp is linen and is in river rock ink.

Thanks for stopping by and having a look at what I have been up to.

Manhattan Flower

Hello Everyone,

I hope that you have all had a wonderful Easter. We sure did and we had a birthday to celebrate as well.

As I hinted last time I had a card that I had made using some goodies from the latest mini catalogue from Stampin' Up. Well I finally have a couple of minutes to post this card up for you to see.

I have used the Manhattan Flower Texture Impressions Embossing Folder that came out with the big shot in this mini cat. I have used very vanilla card stock to make the impression and then sentiment is from the Best Yet set. Certainly celery ribbon a little bit of old olive dsp, handsome hunter ink and of course the never ending supply of green card stock that is very close to handsome hunter that was given to me by a friend. Hope you like it. It is quite sentimental to us as we lived in Manhattan for 5 years so yes I have the 5th Ave floral set as well had have on the inside of the card place another piece of very vanilla and stamped it with the rose from 5th Avenue floral so that you can write your message to your friend.

Fortunately over the past couple of days I have been able to sit and make a few more cards which I will post at a later date. I was making them for our Girlfriends night at church but I still need to take photos, so you will just have to wait.

Now I am off to play monopoly with the kids, hope that you all have a fabulous day. See you all again soon.

Take Care,
