Stampin' Up! - Grateful Bunch is retiring

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are having a wonderful day.

Today I would like to share with you a couple of cards that I have made with the stamp set Grateful Bunch. This card was inspired by a plate stacked high of macaroons. So tasty with a cup of tea or coffee.

With this card I have used all the 2016-2018 In Colours, Dapper denim, Emerald, Envy, Flirty Flaming, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum. The card stock is Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo and Dapper Denim. Inside the flowers I have used the In Colour enamel shapes which are just gorgeous and the flowers are punched out using the retiring Blossom Bunch punch. The Butterfly was fussy cut and is also part of the stamp set too and was coloured in with Peekaboo peach Stampin' Write Markers. The background was embossed with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the sentiment was punched out using the Decorative Label Punch.

A Lot of fun making this card and so simple with the fantastic products from Stampin' Up!

This card I also used the In colours again but wanted to combine it with the Painter's Palette stamp set as my daughter loves her art work, both to draw and to paint. This time I have added some Smoky Slate and Crumb Cake card stock along with some Gold Metallic Thread.

So many ways to use these gorgeous flowers from the Grateful Bunch stamp set either on their own or in combination with other stamps sets. If you want to get this set before the end of May and while stocks last don't hesitate to contact me

If you would like to see more projects using retiring products the Art with Heart team have recently participated in a blog hop. I was not available to participate this time but if you start with Catherine Proctors Blog you will be able to follow along and see all the exciting projects.

Hope you all have a lovely day. Thank you for sharing some time with me today.

Stampin' Up - It has arrived!

Hello Everyone,

Such excitement always surrounds the arrival of an order of Stampin' Up Product. When the BBB (Big Brown Box) arrives I just can't wait to open it and see all the fun new goodies I get to play with. Come June 1st you can too just contact me to find out how.

Before I start making and showing you all the fun things with the new goodies I'm going to show you a couple of creations with some of my favourite retiring products.

I don't know about you but I get motion sick, not as bad as my Dad and baby Brother mind you but I still have to sit in the front of the car and I'm not good at flying either. Well let's just forget going on rides at Luna Park, Movie World or Sea World.  I need calm rides like the carousel.

In this card I used the gorgeous stamp set Carousel Birthday with Cupcakes and Carousels Designer Series paper and embellishment kit. Along with soft sky, very vanilla and calypso coral card stock.

In the area of Melbourne that I live if you get up early enough on a clear crisp morning you might just be able to see the hot air balloons rising up in the distance from the Yarra Valley, it is a beautiful sight to see them. Maybe one day I will get up the courage to have a ride. I'm not sure my tummy will cope so I have never done it! But they are very beautiful and at times my husband has been at work so early that he has seen another lot of balloons in the city fly by his office window. Nothing more gorgeous!

This gorgeous card design I CASEd from one of the Art with Heart team members Alisha Watson, very simple and very effective with the great products from Stampin' Up!
For this card I have used the Lift Me Up stamp set bundled with the Up and Away Thinlits Dies to make the fantastic balloon overlay in night of navy card stock. I also used Soft Sky and Whisper white card stock. Smoky Slate, Soft Sky and Night of Navy ink as well.

With this card I have used the Lift Me Up stamp set again and it reminds me of all the hot air balloons flying by in the early mornings. This card can be easily made with whatever stamp pads that you have on hand and some bakers twine. A great thank you card for a male friends.

It is a fantastic set and Thinlits bundle so make sure you get it while stocks last before May 31st just contact me to find out how.

Hope you all have a lovely day. Thank you for sharing some time with me today.
Take Care.

Stampin' Up OnStage in Sydney

Hello Everyone,

Recently I was fortunate to be able to go to Sydney for the Stampin' Up OnStage Local event. It was a wonderful time and we has such fantastic weather. The event was held a Luna Park and we could see it from our hotel window. How lucky were we?

Here is a view from our hotel room. Isn't it gorgeous?

Here is the view by night out out window, just stunning!

Here I am with some of the lovely ladies from the Art with Heart team having fun at OnStage in Sydney!

The lovely Caroline Manwaring from country NSW. She and I became little friends! We laughed about how nice it was to have someone close in height to ourselves!

Here we are with Jan Collins from Queensland.

These gorgeous ladies from the Art with Heart team sat with me for the  day. Catherine Proctor, from Sydney, Caroline Manwaring, Jan Collins and my room mate and flying buddy for the weekend Kate Morgan. Catherine Proctor was amazing and came and picked us up from the airport and drove us around the whole weekend. Thanks so much Catherine!

At the OnStage events in April Stampin' Up launch their new annual catalogue that will be available to customers from June 1, 2017. If you want to get your hands on a copy don't hesitate to contact me.

While we were at OnStage in Sydney we had many fantastic presentations but I can't possibly show them all to you but here is a taste of the new in colours for this year. Oh My Goodness! Can't wait to get my hands on these ones!  Left to right from the top Lemon Lime Twist, Fresh Fig, Powder Pink, Tranquil Tide and Berry Burst. Gorgeous! The Lemon Lime Twist reminds me of being a teenager in the '80s. It is sure going to bring a pop of colour to our projects!

I have a most Gorgeous Cousin going through her second bout of breast cancer at the moment with such grace and dignity and I was so happy and overwhelmed when this new stamp set Ribbon of Courage was demonstrated for us. I can't wait to get my hands on this most beautiful stamp set to be able to make her a card like this. Of course you can make it is all different colours for many different struggles that your friends and loved ones are facing.

Hope you all have a lovely day. Thanks for sharing some time with me today.

Stampin' Up Obsession

Hello,

What is your obsession?
Well at a recent dinner for my daughters ASD social group, Different Journeys, they were asked to dress up in their obsessions. My daughter used to love Dr. Who. Still does to some degree and watches it with her dad but at the moment she is really into Japanese Anime. So of course she had to go dressed as one of the characters.

We decided to go as a casual Totoro it was easy to put together and she looked great:

The parents could dress up too and were actually encouraged to get in on the fun as well. I couldn't quite work out what I was going to do so well you guessed it I attached a lot of the cards I have made using Stampin' Up products to myself and went dressed up in my obsession of card making with Stampin' Up! What could be better than that I ask you?!!!

Here I am trying it on before we leave to see if it will work. Just a bit funny but the other parents thought it was not too bad! What do you think?

Hope you all have a lovely day. Thanks for sharing some time with me today
