It is another Monday so time for another look at what Sunshine’s Stamps have on offer. This week I have used 2 images from Sunshine’s Stamps on the one card: Fumble the football and Ref Rodney. I have also used Midnights Madness Sketch #19 for the basis of my card. I printed out 2 Ref Rodney’s coloured them the same, cut out one and popped it using dimensionals. I also popped the sentiment and a couple of Fumble the Football. I haven’t sponged the edges of the sentiment or around the oval as I wanted a very clean look for this card. I know when you are playing football there is nothing that is clean about it! Hope you like it.
Here is the recipe:
Card Stock: Stampin’ Up night of Navy, Bordering Blue and Whisper White
DSP: Stampi’ Up Urban Garden
Ink: Stampin’ Up Basic Black, Going Grey, Basic Grey, Creamy Caramel, Blush Blossom, Real Red, Really Rust, Bashful Blue, Ballet Blue, Brilliant Blue and Night of Navy.
Other: Black Half Pearls, Dimensional, Double Sided tape, Scissors and Personal Trimmer
Here is the sketch from the Midnight Madness team:
I also promised that I would show you a scrapbooking pages that I had worked on in August but just haven’t had time to post it. I do have more but you can wait until another post for those. This page I did as challenges for SBT50 Australia. It was a fun Cyber Crop in August where we also had to make a card using the scraps from our pages. It was a great idea so here is a page that I came up with for one of the challenges.
This page was a quote challenge as well as a challenge to have stars as the main attraction so to speak. I used Stampin’ Up Pretty in Pink card stock to create the title (which is also the quote we were to use and all the stars. I cut it all out on my Craft Robo. Man did it come in handy for this project. I had seen a similar page where it was almost all the one colour so I thought I would give a monochromatic layout a go and I quite like how it turned out. The background paper is also Stampin’ Up and was from the Berry Bliss DSP pack.
Here is the card I made using the scraps. The stamp is also from Stampin’ Up from the Best Yet set. I also used Pink Passion as the ink on this card.
Well that is all for now, oh alright just because you begged. I will show you one more page and card.
This layout I also did for the Cyber Challenge at SBT50 We each had certain criteria that we had to use. I had to use 2 different ribbons, a one word title, use at least 3 buttons and use something made of chipboard. This is what I came up with. I just love this photo of my Sarah. I had never made flowers with ribbon before so I thought I would give it a go and they came out o.k. The background paper is Stampin’ Up, the green torn paper is creative memories, The ribbon is Stampin’ Up and then we have the sticker alpha’s, buttons and chipboard flourishes to finish it all off.
This card is using the same stamp set as the previous card obviously because it is the same sentiment: Stampin’ Up’s Best Yet set. The paper, ribbon, and buttons are the same as the page as we had to use our scraps to make it as the extra challenge. I also used Stampin’ Up’s scallop circle punch.
Well thanks for stopping by and spending a little of your time with me.
