Silent Night - Christmas Card

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping by to see what I have been up to. Well Just a quick post for you this week. I have for you another Card made with Sunshine’s images. I have used Sunshine’s Silent Night Sentiment and also her poinsettia image for this card. Sunshine asked us to chose a sentiment and then she sent us the image that she had created for that sentiment so that is why I have a poinsettia as well. I love Poinsettias which we had not come across before we lived in the U.S. but on returning to Australia they are more prevalent here. I have also used Crazy 4 Challenges Sketch for the design of the card.

Here is the card:

This is the Sketch from Crazy 4 Challenges

The Recipe for this card:

Stamps: Sunshine’s Stamps Silent Night and Poinsettia digital images
Card stock: Green base card unknown. (Yes I have heaps and heaps of it)
Stampin Up’s Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla and DSP Christmas (2008)
Ink: Stampin’Up: Riding Hood Red, Real Read, Rose Red, Handsome Hunter, Always Artichoke
Other: Fiskars Filigree texture plate, Ribbon not sure of the name but it is very pretty.
Tools: personal trimmer, double sided tape, dimensionals, bone folder, sponge dauber.
I Popped up the sentiment using dimensionals and cut out the poinsettia and popped it up on it's own.

Sorry that this is such a quick post but I know that this time of year we are all getting a bit busy with school, work and Christmas events. So Enjoy your week and I will see you again next Monday. Don't forget to have a look at the rest of Sunshine's Design Team Blogs for more inspiration for your Christmas Cards, you can find their blogs on my sidebar.

Bye For Now

Take Care
