Hello and welcome to our last Heart of Christmas showcase for 2020. I can hardly believe that we are quite here at the almost end of the year and at the same time it is almost like we are in the car as a child going, "are we there yet?"
Tonight I have a quick card using our beautiful Brushed Metallic Cardstock which you can find on page 45 of the Aug-Dec Mini catalogue. It comes in Bronze, Copper and Gold and I have used all 3 in my card and added a dash of Red Foil that you can find on page 22 of the Mini.
I have decided to use the Arrange a wreathe bundle from the annual Catalogue for tonight's quick card and also a little bit of paper from the In Good Taste DSP and the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.
For this card I have layered my wreath onto strips 3.4 x 9.5 cm wide of In Good Taste DSP and then onto a piece of Garden Green card 10x 14.5 cm which I have popped up on dimensional. I waited to add it to my card base of Garden green until my wreath was attached with the Poppy Parade and gold trim ribbon from the All the Trimmings ribbon combo pack.
I have used the red foil for the poinsettia and the bow of our wreath to add just that extra bit of bling.
The sentiment is stamped in Sahara sand and punch out with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch and popped up on some dimensionals. You might notice some gold, brass and copper baubles behind my card, they are hanging on my tree as I have already put it up and decorated it. I still need to decorate the rest of the house however.
I chose to do the card opening vertically as I thought is worked better for the wreath. On the inside I placed a little strip of the In Good Taste DSP to decorate my card.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and have lots of fun making and sending out your Christmas cards
Now please head over to our host's blog for one more time, my friend and very creative Judy May. There you will find a list of the team who are participating tonight.

Thank you for spending some crafty time with me today! Take care,
Such a great idea to use all three of the metallic foils, well four if you count the red! The wreath looks fabulous, and I Ove how you've split the In Good Taste DSP for the background.
ReplyDeleteOh Sharon, that wreath looks terrific in the metallic foils and the wood texture dsp reminds me of a door panel!
ReplyDeleteLovely card Sharon, the foils look beautiful together
ReplyDeleteI love these wreath dies, Sharon and it looks lovely with the 3 brushed metallics together and the pop of red. I put my wreath on the door on the 1st of December - I can't believe how quickly it has come!
