Week 50 - Colour Creations Showcase - "Soft Suede"

Week 50 Soft Suede

So exciting we have reached 50 weeks of the wonderful spectrum of colours from Stampin' Up! I just love how everything in the range matches so you know that the ink and paper and the DSP all will go together so you have no problems with the colour that you choose, and it makes creating so easy.

So today I have made a card with a borrowed stamp set but it is on my wish list for my next order. I can't wait to get this suite!
Rhapsody in craft, Soft Suede, Annual Catalogue 2021-22, Bloom Where You're Planted, Plentiful Plants, Fancy Fold Cards, Friendship Cards, Stitched with Whimsy Die, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Layering Circle Dies, #colourcreationsshowcase,#loveitchopit,Stampin' Up

I was away on the weekend, Oh soooo lovely! For a craft weekend and my lovely friends had the Bloom Where You're Planted suite. Oh how gorgeous is this suite. I already had some of the DSP from a paper share I had been in and this is with what I have made the majority of the card. Oh and yes a fancy fold as well. I just couldn't help myself!

So this is a fun fancy fold card to make and the base of the card is in our colour of the week Soft Suede and layered with crumb cake and one of the pieces of the Bloom Where You're Planted DSP which has a gray granite speckle to it and I thought was just great with Soft Suede. The little bricks that the pots of plants are on is also some of the DSP from this pack and you guessed it I fussy cut out the pots and plants as well to put on the brick wall.

Now to make the fun fold I cut the piece of A4 card stock in half at 10.5 cm x 21 cm folded it in half and then folded the front half back on itself towards the fold. Then you make the front layer which I did with the stitched rectangle dies and the layering circle dies at the top so that when you want to close it you have a place to slide the front panel up under to keep your card all nice and neatly together.
So just remember to adhere just the top part of the circle so you can slide the card under not the whole circle or else you could be in for  a bit of a sticky situation.

On the inside of the card I used the Stitched with Whimsy die to create a place for writing to your friend before sending your card.
Now the 2 sentiments I used are from the stamp set Plentiful Plants and I was very grateful to borrow the stamp set while I was away and it is going on my next order.

Hope you have enjoyed this little look at the Bloom where you're planted set, there is so much more so I can't wait to get it and the dies as well.
