Welcome to another week of wonderful Christmas inspiration from the Art With Heart team. I love Mondays and I hope you do too! I can't wait for it to be Monday so I get to see all the fantastic Christmas creations. I love Christmas so that might be the reason I love Heart of Christmas time and we are at week 17 for this year!
So for today I have a quick and simple card for you and I am letting the gorgeous Designer Series Paper do all the work!
So this card is quick and you can use this gorgeous Peaceful Place Specialty Paper it is just beautiful and I decided to let it do all the talking this week.
To accompany the Peaceful Place SDSP I have used Evening Evergreen as the card base and layered it with Silver Foil added a little Evening Evergreen Open Weave ribbon and Genial Gems after I had stamped the greeting from the stamp set For Unto Us in Evening Evergreen.
On the inside of the card I have carried the same theme through and added the silver foil and the strip along the bottom of the Peaceful Place SDSP that I had trimmed from the front.
You could do this with any colour you liked, Night of Navy would be fantastic as Blue and Silver go so well together or even Real Red and Cherry Cobbler and use the Holiday Rhinestone Gems or the Red Rhinestone gems to add your bling. The possibilities are endless.
If you have any questions about my card today or would like to get your hands on some goodies to make some quick cards yourself just hit my contact button anytime.
Now is the time to head to the next very talented person on our hop around today and I can't wait to see her creation. Kathryn Mangelsdorf is joining in with us today for the first time in a long time and I can't wait to see what she has for us. Hit the next blog button to go to her blog now.
I have the privilege to host this week's blog hop so if there are any technical difficulties and one of the next blog buttons doesn't work come back here and you can continue your hop right where you left off by going to the following list of participants. Enjoy you blog hop!

Thank you for spending some Christmas crafty time with me today, take care,
I love how you stamped the sentiment directly onto the DSP, Sharon, and I really like your choice of Evening Evergreen to use in conjunction with that beautiful paper and foil. Nicely done. x
ReplyDeleteSharon you've showcased the DSP beautifully in your card and the Evening evergreen is an elegant colour choice to go with these gorgeous silver tones.
ReplyDeleteVery elegant card Sharon and the Evening Evergreen is a lovely choice with this DSP.
ReplyDeleteSuch an elegant card Sharon. I was surprised how well the Evening Evergreen works with the silver foil. That's the perfect style sentiment for this card too.
ReplyDeleteYour paper is the perfect choice for this card, and I love the sentiment you've paired it with. In my head I am hearing a church choir singing a cappella, and it sound amazing! LOL!
ReplyDeleteAs you said you have let the DSP do the talking and your lovely card is doing just that. Beautiful in its simplicity
ReplyDeleteThere are just so many gorgeous DSPs in the SU range Sharon and the one you have chosen to feature on your quick and easy but oh so elegant card is no exception.
ReplyDeleteVery elegant and stylish card, Sharon. Love the silver and that you added Evening Evergreen, wow!
ReplyDeleteThis is just lovely Sharon. I love the peaceful scene and the sentiment stamped directly onto the dsp. The Evening Evergreen ribbon and silver foil add an elegant touch.
