Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative Christmas projects, many featuring products from the upcoming Holiday Catalogue which starts on the 4th of September.
If you would like a copy of the 2019 - 2020 Annual catalogue or the new Holiday catalogue, contact any of the girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you.
Hope you are getting excited about the new Holiday Catalogue, I am just loving all the gorgeous offerings of product that stamping up have for us this year. Tonight I have chosen to use the Merry Moose Bundle found on page 27 of the new Catalogue. I have also used the a stamp from the Christmas Countdown set which is on Page 38. Those stamps are fabulous for other projects as well as the Advent calendar.
When I was a kid growing up my brother and I loved to read a book call Morris the Moose has a cold, we loved it so when I saw this stamp set bundle I had to have it.
I have chosen to do a one sheet wonder project for you tonight as there are a couple of Designer series paper packs in the catalogue that are 6x6. So I thought I would give it a go.
I found this sketch of how to cut it up and then adapted the ideas to work how I wanted to make the four cards out of the 1 piece of gorgeous Designer series paper. You may remember that I did a 12x12 One sheet wonder for the Heart of Christmas blog hop 2 years ago fi you have been following my blog for a little while.
I chose this beautiful gorgeous piece of DSP from the Night before Christmas DSP pack as it comes in 6x6.
Now for the cards themselves.
For each of the cards I have used Crumb cake as the base of the card and stamped the background stamp several times in crumb cake ink from the Christmas Countdown stamp set. It is really quite effective!
I have cut out in whisper white with the stitched shaped dies a couple of circles and on the larger one stamped the trees from the Merry moose stamp set in mossy meadow. I stamped the middle tree first and then the left tree without reinking my stamp and then the tree on the right - again without reinking the stamp.
The moose is stamped on Whisper white in crumb cake and then the outline is in soft suede ink. I have then punched him out using the moose punch that comes with the merry moose bundle and it saves you 10% to combine them in the bundle!
The scarf and Christmas hat is stamped in cherry cobbler and cut out by hand before I added them to the moose and I popped him up on some dimensionals and attached him to each card. Merry Christmoose is also stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink!
These were fun quick easy cards to do and now I have a set of 4 ready to go for Christmas, why don't you give the one sheet wonder 6x6 a go. You can also mix it up a bit and change the patterned pieces around. See what you come up with!
If you would like any help with any of these cards or would like the new Holiday catalogue do not hesitate to contact me.

These are so cool Sharon. A 6x6 one sheet wonder is a great idea. I love the background effect you have been able to achieve with the Christmas Countdown stamp set. Great set of cards.
Thank you Claire, I just thought I would try and have a go at a 6x6 OSW and the backgrounds stamps in Christmas countdown are just gorgeous, I can see them being used for many different projects!
Yay, I love your one sheet wonder cards, Sharon, and these are fantastic! I love that moose popped up on all those layers, wonderful.
Thanks so much Kate, I had fun trying this!
Wow, Sharon, there is so much to love here...The story of Morris the Moose and your one sheet wonder pattern. Beautiful cards xxx
I've never heard of the story of Morris the Moose, but it looks like a fun story Sharon. Your cards are fantastic and thank you for sharing the pattern for the one sheet wonder. I think Morris may need another box of tissues!
