Heart of Christmas - 2022 - Week 15

Welcome to week 15 of the Heart of Christmas, so happy you could join the Art With Heart team as we share some Christmas inspiration with you.

This week I have used the gorgeous Kindest Gnomes once again and put them on another fancy fold for you.

So for this card I have also used the Gnome dies and the Storybook Gnomes DSP.  This card starts with a card base of half an A4 piece of Night of Navy card and folded in half but cut vertically so you have the really long thin card base.

On the front I have layered a piece of the Storybook Gnomes DSP and then a layer of vellum. Then using other pieces of the DSP and the Gnome Dies I have cut out the mushrooms and Gnomes and stamped the sentiment and placed that on the front of the card.

On the inside I have used the same DSP to layer on the inside and then a strip of Night of navy folded in 4 to help the Gnomes pop up. I have cut layers of Pool Party and Basic White in the Deckled Rectangle for the Gnomes to sit on.

Here is a closer look at the Gnomes!

These gnomes I have stamped and then coloured with the stampin blends. You can have so much fun with this set. On the back of the card I have made a space for you to write to the recipient of the card.

If you have any questions about this card or you would like to have a play with these gorgeous gnomes yourself please get in contact with me

Now is the time to go to the amazingly talented Kate Morgan. I love seeing her creations each week. She blows me away and I can't wait to see what she has for us this week. Just hit the next blog button and go straight there.

If at any time you have a broken next button link just come back here and continue your hop from the list of participants joining us today from the Art with Heart team.
Thank you for spending some Christmas crafty time with me today, take care,

I like that you used Night of Navy as the card base, and tabs for the pop-ups inside your card, Sharon. Delightful card!

You’ve created a very cute little gnome village, Sharon! I too love the contrast of the Night of Navy with the softer colours of the gnome DSP. Another wonderful fun-fold card from our Queen of fun-folds. xx

I love your Gnome card, Sharon, aren't they fun?!!! I like how you added the vellum layer on the front of the card, to tone down that lovely, but busy patterned paper. Super cute card!
