Welcome to week 50 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop this week we are looking at the colour Tahitian Tide. Next week we will be starting our New InColor range for 2024-26 I do hope you will come back and check out the exciting 5 new InColors!
But first Tahitian Tide.
I thought I should end the 2023-24 Colour Creations blog hop with a little fancy fold card. It is called a Cascading Display card and I haven't done one since my Christmas blog hop a couple of years ago so it is about time to do one again!
To begin with I created the base of the card in Tahitian Tide card stock.
Once you have the structure of the card which you score a "z" at each of the ends of you base card then add another little piece of card in the shape of a "z" to those, then adhere the layers. It all helps the card fold down to go into our envelopes. So how did I decorate the card base.

I took a piece of the Nature's Sweetness Specialty DSP and with the Stampin' Blends I coloured in the images. I used Light and Dark Tahitian Tide, Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Light and Dark Daffodil Delight, Light Lost Lagoon and Light Pretty Peacock! I used the Lovely & Sweet Dies to cut out a couple of Tahitian card flowers. The sentiment is cut up and place a little on the left and the rest on the right!
On the middle section I have used a different piece of the Nature's Sweetness Specialty DSP.
For the inside layer of the card where you can write your greeting I have added a circle of Nature's Sweetness Specialty DSP cut out with the Everyday Details Dies which is what I used to cut out the Birthday Sentiment which is from the Notes of Nature Stamp set. I have also stamped and coloured the leaves and flowers from the Notes of Nature stamp set and cut them out with the Dies from the bundle.

Wow, what an incredible fancy fold! So much work, but it all looks amazing.
This is such a mind-blowingly stunning fancy fold card, Sharon, sure to wow the recipient! I love your colour combination and the way you have layered the design through all of your card, ending with the spectacular inside sentiment surrounded by die cuts.
Wow, Sharon, fantastic card Sharon! I love your colour combination and so many layers look fabulous
Gosh, what a feast for the eyes! Great, bold, colours, and lots of interesting details to look at, make for a truly unique card, Sharon.
Another amazing fancy fold Sharon. I love your layering and your choice of DSP. Gorgeous. Your colouring is wonderful and even more special with the addition of die cuts - the tiny flowers finish off the front panels beautifully. xxx
The comment above is mine x
Sharon, I love the darker colouring of your DSP with the lovely pops of Tarhitian Tide flowers, so pretty. The way you have the sentiments spread acoss the panels is clever to draw the eyes to them. A wonderful fancy fold for the recipient to enjoy!
