Welcome to the Heart of Christmas for week 8 of 2024. This week I have been working on baby shower cards so I have done a very quick card for you. I will show the baby cards during the coming weeks in our Colour Creations Blog Hops that you can catch on a Wednesday!
My card this week I have used the gorgeous Peaceful Season and Peaceful Evergreens stamp sets to create my card.
I am loving Lost Lagoon this year for the Christmas trees and using the Winter Meadows DSP. Along each side of this card you can see strips of this beautiful DSP.I have a single piece of Thick Basic White which I have added the 2 strips of the Winter Meadow DSP to the edges and then another piece of Thick Basic White for the center fold of the card that I have embossed with the Dashing Designs 3D embossing folder folded in half and adhered to the back card base piece. For the focal point of the card I have heat embossed in gold the sentiment from the Peaceful Seasons stamp set and then cut out the label using the Nested Essential Dies so that the sentiment was at the bottom leaving space for the Christmas tree. The tree is stamped from the Peaceful Evergreens set in Lost lagoon ink and cut out with the Peaceful Evergreen dies along with the gold foil overlay and star. The tree and the focal point have been popped up on dimensionals. If you have any questions or would like to get you hands on the Sept-Dec Mini please contact me.

Ooh, I do like this creative fold! The Nested Essentials die cut is a perfect base for your lovely Christmas tree, Sharon. I love all the white, against that beautiful DSP, too.
Stunning card Sharon, the Christmas Tree fits perfectly perfectly on that die and the white space highlights the tree
Such an elegant card Sharon! I love the combination of the Christmas Tree and the die - they work perfectly together!
That's a cool fold Sharon, simple, but I do like how it sits and showcases the centre elements. Very elegant!
Gorgeous card, Sharon. I love how that stamped tree fits perfectly into the Nested Essentials die and that background dry embossing looks amazing!
Simply gorgeous Sharon. I love this fold - it is simply wow. Like you I am loving Lost Lagoon this year. The gold overlay topped with a beautiful star is delightful on the stamped tree and coordinates with the heat embossed sentiment. Love the dry embossed background too. xxx
This is favourite fancy fold, Sharon and it looks fabulous with the beautiful Winter Meadows DSP and your layered tree.
