Welcome to my happy place.

Hi,

Welcome to my blog. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope that you will find some inspiration for your projects as I have from many lovely people. This is just a little space for me to share some of my cards, scrap book pages and maybe even some of my embroidery and quilting projects.

Enjoy and stop back often.

A couple of cards and a jumper.

Welcome to another week of fun. Hope that you all had a lovely weekend. We did Michael got home from Malaysia exceptionally tired but he was home and that is always good.

Today I wanted to post a couple of cards I made for some pamper packs we made at our Girlfriends night. I cased them off the internet so I hope that you like them.

I do understand that not everyone like pink. It happens to be a favourite in our house but I know this is not the case for everyone so I tried to make some cards that weren’t pink.

This first one I cased from Leslie Moore. Click on her name to see the cards I cased.

Here is the recipe:
Paper and Card used: Close to Cocoa DSP, Whisper white and Close to Cocoa card stock.
Ink: Chocolate chip
Stamps: Scattered sunshine wheel and the “thinking of you stamp” is a Stampin’ up stamp from a set I got many moons ago while living in the U.S.Others: I used my creative memories cutting system for the have circle and personal trimmer to cut it in half and also the circle punches from CM.

This card is also a simple card. Simple cards are always good to have in your arsenal. I also cased this from another card but I am unable to find where I got it from. So thank you to the lovely lady who made the original.

Here is the recipe:
Paper and Card. Old Olive, Old Olive DSP, whisper white
Ink: Always artichoke
Ribbon: Old Olive Grosgrain 5/8”
Other: Personal trimmer and circle scallop punch and circle punch.

I also wanted to show you the jumper my Mother knitted for my daughter Sarah. It is just fabulous. She is a pretty fantastic Grandma! Hope you like the jumper.

I have a few more cards to put up but you will have to wait until next time. I also have a couple of birthday cards I have made but have to wait until the recipients have received them before I can post them.

Hope you have a great day.
Thanks for stopping by, see you soon.
