Welcome to my happy place.

Hi,

Week 4 - Colour Creations Blog Hop - "Bermuda Bay"

Another wonderful week of colour and this week we are bringing to you one of Stampin' Ups Brights: Bermuda Bay! It is a beautiful bluey green colour and I quite like it but don't seem to use it much and I need to rectify that.

Today I have decided to pull out the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle to make my card with a little help from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set for the sentiment.
Rhapsody in Craft, Bermuda Bay, Butterfly Brilliance, Butterfly Brilliance Bundle, Brilliant Wings, Inspired Thoughts, Bark 3D Embossing Folder, In Color Shimmer Vellum, Lovely Labels Pick A Punch, #colourcreationsbloghop, Stampin' Up!, Annual Catalogue 2021
I know you were thinking I was going to do a fancy fold. Well I thought the gorgeous Bermuda Bay Butterflies and the new Bark 3D embossing folder were just the ticket for this card.

I stamped the gorgeous big butterfly stamp with just the butterfly that I wanted and used the dies from the bundle to cut out the same butterfly twice and then used the Stampin' Blends to colour the butterflies. I love the Stampin' Blends.

On this butterfly I have used both light and dark Rich Razzleberry, Light and Dark Bermuda Bay and Dark Daffodil Delight before adding what have to be my favourite at the moment the Matte Black Dots.

With the gorgeous dies from the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle the Brilliant Wings dies, I die cut this magnificent butterfly in Bermuda Bay and did you spot the new In Color Fresh Freesia Shimmer Vellum circle behind it? So sparkly and fun.

I have stamped the sentiment in Smokey Slate from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set and used the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch to
make the end of the sentiment look just perfect and popped them up on dimensionals along with some white bakers twine and basic rhinestone jewels to finish off the card. You know you can never have enough bling!

If you would like any information about this card or the gorgeous products do not hesitate to contact me.

Now is the time where we hop on to the next creative team member who is participating in this weeks Colour Creation Blog Hop and I am always excited to see what Ros Davidson has to share, her creations are bold and fun and make me want to come back each week just to see what she has created this week so please head on over to her blog now:

If for any reason there is a break in the blog circle just come back to the list of names and click on the next name in the list and it will take you right to their blog so you can continue on with your hopping around the team.

Your butterflies are so colourful and pretty! I love the texture in the background, too. I may have to take a closer look at that embossing folder!

I love those bright colours against the textured white background (and with the addition of Matte Black Dots - I love them, too!). Bermuda Bay is a great colour to use on butterflies. Lovely card, Sharon.

Lovely colours on the butterflies and the bark background gives amazing texture. And nearly missed that Fresh Freesia vellum which looks pretty too.
