Now I wanted to stay away from the Tea Boutique suite collection as it had all the new InColors but I couldn't this week as tomorrow at my church craft group we are having a high tea for Mother's Day. One of the ladies who is helping me organise it wanted to have the quote from Eleanor Roosevelt for everyone so I said I would organise that along with a tea bag for everyone. I thought well this suite is perfect for just this occasion.
So what have I made? Well I have made a little envelope using the InColour 6x6 DSP which I cut down to 5x5 but you don't have to but those strips left over will come in handy I am sure in another project!
All I did was fold the points into the centre and then glued the bottom 3 together with a small amount of glue and to hold the top flap of the envelope down I cut out the heart in Sweet Sorbet (another new InColor) and popped it up on a mini dimensional. Envelope done. Now to satisfy the wish of the quote I printed them onto Basic White card and cut them out with the Teacup Dies and added them to the envelope along with the teabag. So to decorate the front of my little envelope I have cut out the teacup with the Teacup dies in the Orchid Oasis both in the solid and then the leaf pattern and adhered them together I have also stamped the leaves on Basic White in a new Incolor Parakeet Party and the flowers in Sweet Sorbet. The little teabag tag is stamped in Orchid Oasis and attached with the new InColor bakers twine and the lemon wedge is stamped in Crushed Curry. All of these are cut out with the dies in the set from the Teacup dies.
Just so much fun to put together now I just have to make 30 by tomorrow. Wish me luck! If I get a bunch done before the hop goes live I will add a photo!
