Heart of Christmas 2026 - Week 6

Welcome to week 6 of the Heart of Christms. A group of creative friends from the Art with Heart team are back with our Annual Heart of Christmas blog hop. Follow through the blogs each Monday night until the end of November for Christmas card inspiration.

This week all best plans went out the window as I have been in bed with one of the worst virus's going around and I am still coughing like crazy but I am on the mend. So because of that I needed a quick card for today.

Layers and Arches! What else could you ask for?! Ok so a little Hot Foiling too just because I couldn't resist!

So before I started I based my colouring all around the Whispering Woods DSP and went for a card base in Pretty Peacock! I took the largest Everyday Arches Die and cut out all except the fold of the card. Using the dies goind down in order of sizes I cut out the Metal Effects Specialty Paper then the Whispering Woods DSP. Don't forget to cut a piece of Basic White for the inside of the card too!

To make sure you can have a little bit of the gorgeous DSP showing skip a couple of sizes but make sure your Christmas tree still fits and cut out a Basic White arch. I stamped the tree in Pretty Peacock and then heat embossed some Wow Gold sparkly spots all over to represent the ornaments. I popped that up on some dimenstionals and the greeting and start is Hot Foiled in Gold on Pretty Peacock using the Magical Christmas Hot Foil Dies.

Now is the time to head to our next team member in this weeks hop and you will be heading to Kate Morgan. I can not wait to see her amazing creation this week! Hit the next blog button and you will go straight there.
