Stampin' Up - Designer Series Paper - Art With Heart July 2018 Blog hop

DSP, Rooted in nature, sweet storybook, make a difference, love what you do

Tonight, the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring designer series paper. This month, Stampin’ Up! have a special on designer series paper, buy 3, get 1 free! We hope our blog hop inspires you to get crafting with your designer series paper.

I don’t know about you, but I love Designer Series Paper (DSP), I really can’t get enough of it. Ok I love ribbon and stamps and ink as well. Ok I love all Stampin’ Up products but tonight we are talking about DSP and I have loads. So, tonight is a great time to be using some. It is the perfect time to be cutting up and using the gorgeous DSP on some cards and scrapbooking pages.

I have for you 2 cards and 1 scrapbook page. I recently went to a team day and we were asked to bring along something to share made with some of the new product in the catalogue and I thought I would do a scrapbook page.

Don’t you just love this most gorgeous Share what you love specialty DSP? It is gorgeous and was perfect for some photos of a holiday we took in Malaysia 6 years ago. I know I am way behind in my photos scrapbooking, so I need to get my act into gear and Stampin’ Up has all the product with their memories and more products, so I have no excuse. My gorgeous daughter who is so tiny in this photo is now 11cms taller than me.
DSP, Share what you love, love what you do, make a difference, tailored tag

It’s a beautiful day stamp is from the Love what you do stamp set and the “Breathe In” sentiment is made up from the alphabet stamp set Make a difference, where you can create your own words. The DSP is cut out using the Tailored tag punch and I have layered them over the shimmery white embossing paste and the pearlized doilies.

DSP, Rooted in Nature, Nature's Poem, Z fold

My first card I have come back to a favourite simple Z Fold card that is perfect for showing off the perfect DSP. I have used the Nature’s Poem DSP for this card accompanied with my favourite returning colour Blackberry Bliss. Rooted in Nature stamp set and the leaves trinkets are just perfect for the designs I have chosen from this DSP pack. I have stamped off first the cut of wood in soft suede before stamping on whisper white just to make it a little lighter before using veramark and white embossing powder for the sentiment.

Here are a couple of different angles for you to check out the design.

For my 3rd design and 2nd card tonight I have used Twinkle Twinkle DSP with the very cute Sweet Storybook stamp set.

I have cut out the sentiment using the little banner from Petals and More Thinlits dies. The cute little mice were cut out using the Storybook Scene thinlits then cut apart after I had stamped them with the aid of my Stamparatus. The tool that everyone just has to have. It is the best thing since sliced bread! The little mice are pool party and lovely lipstick, but I stamped lovely lipstick off twice first before colouring the little mouse. The gorgeous silver and pool party and silver and petal pink bakers twine just finish off this card nicely to match the polka dots of the paper.
