Welcome to my happy place.

Hi,

Welcome to my blog. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope that you will find some inspiration for your projects as I have from many lovely people. This is just a little space for me to share some of my cards, scrap book pages and maybe even some of my embroidery and quilting projects.

Enjoy and stop back often.

AWHT Creative Showcase May 2020 - Sketch Challenge

Welcome to the Monthly Art With Heart Creative Showcase. This month the Art With Heart Team have amazing projects to share with you that have been inspired by the card sketch below. The sketch is to be used as a starting point and has been interpreted in many creative ways by the Art With Heart Team.
I have used the sketch really quite literally, I think my brain is a little bit fried. How are you all going in this time?

The gorgeous Peaceful Moments Bundle is what I decided to use for my card project tonight! It is carrying over to the Annual catalogue but it will not be a bundle and get the 10% discount so if you love it get it now before June 2. From June 3 you will be able to get them but you will have to get them separately.

Peaceful Moments, Peaceful Moments Bundle, Poppy Moments Dies, Peaceful Moments DSP, Tasteful Textures Embossing Folder, Friendship Card, Stampin' Up, Rhapsody in craft, Art With Heart, Card sketch

So for this card I used the Peaceful Moments stamp set and the Poppy Moments Dies and if you look very closely at the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper I have used a new embossing folder from the upcoming Annual Catalogue and it is called Tasteful Textiles. I love it and you will too. Claire Daly gave me the idea to put the Designer Series paper through this embossing folder with a card that she did recently and I think you will love doing it too!

I have used the colours of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper to create my poppy: Rich Razzleberry, Flirty Flamingo, Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow for the leaves all set on a Rich Razzleberry card base. For the banner I thought I would do something a little bit different and stamp the sentiment all the way down in Basic grey ink!
Stampin' Up colour Combination, Rich Razzleberry, Flirty Flamingo, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow, Basic Gray

The next demonstrator to share her interpretation of the sketch is the fabulous Vicki Boucher and I always love seeing her creations every creative showcase.

The embossed DSP looks fabulous! It's such a great idea to stamp the sentiment down the banner the way you did - I love how it looks.

I love the way you have stamped the banner, and the great showcase of both of those stamp sets.

The Tasteful Texture embossing folder shows so well on the DSP, Sharon. Love the greeting on the banner, too.

What a clever bunny you are, continuously stamping the sentiment down the banner and the embossed DSP gives great texture!
