Heart of Christmas - Week 6 - Peaceful Evergreens Turtle Flap Fancy Fold Card

Welcome to week 6 of The Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. I do hope that you have been loving our last few weeks of our Heart of Christmas blog hop for 2024.

This week I have found another fancy fold for you and I have paired it with the Peaceful Evergreen Bundle and the Peaceful Season Bundle.

This is what the card looks like before I started to decorate.
The base of the card is in Lost Lagoon then I have layered with Pretty Peacock and the gorgeous Winter Meadow DSP.
On the inside I have used Pretty Peacock card for the mechanism and I have used the Winter Meadow DSP again for all the layers. The gorgeous trees on one side but the other side gives a lovely contrast that we can use.
The surprise for this fold is if you pull on the edge of the trees on the contrast strips you have 4 flaps pop out and there is your Turtle Flap Fancy Fold Card. Now for the decorations.
I have used the Thoughtful Wishes dies in white to back my Christmas Tree. The tree has been stamped in Lost Lagoon on the reverse side of the DSP then I have cut it out with the Peaceful Evergreen Dies. I have cut out in Gold Foil the over layer and the star with the dies from the same set. I have Gold Embossed onto Pretty Peacock and then Cherry cobbler onto Basic White for the Merry Christmas from the Peaceful Season stamp and then used the Peaceful Season Dies to cut them out. The were popped up on dimensionals.
The decorations on the inside of the card are made using the Peaceful Evergreen stamps and dies again and I have stamped and embossed in gold sentiments from the Peaceful Seasons stamp set and used the label die to cut it out as well.
I have used 5 other sentiments for the pop outs.
On the bottom pop out I used 2

Here is a video of how the card works.

The name of this fancy fold made me laugh, but it sure is fitting! Wow - that's a lot of sentiments you can fit on one card. :) Your choice of DSP is perfect, Sharon, and goes so beautifully with the tree stamps and dies. Lovely!

Goodness me, you are amazing how you come up with these fun fold cards. This one has a fun name, but I can sure see where it comes from. Lots of fun panels to decorate and the choice of background DSP is perfect!

What an amazing fun fold card, Sharon. Love the soft background DSP you’ve used and I can see lots of possibilities for decorating the flaps.
