Welcome to my happy place.

Hi,

Welcome to my blog. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope that you will find some inspiration for your projects as I have from many lovely people. This is just a little space for me to share some of my cards, scrap book pages and maybe even some of my embroidery and quilting projects.

Enjoy and stop back often.

Exciting News!

Well I have some exciting news for you today. I have been asked to be a part of Sunshine’s Stamps Design team. I was really honoured to be asked. I found Sunshine’s digital stamps through Debbie P’s place. Sunshine is now selling her digital stamps so go on over and have a look at them. They are lots of fun and there are new ones coming out all the time. I will have a project once a week to show you. Pop on over and look at Sunshine's Blog for great inspiration.

This is one that I was working on before I was asked to be on the DT. It is Malcolm Milk Truck and he is gorgeous. I am doing a birthday card front swap at SBT50 and we had to do a male and a female card. This is what I came up with and I couldn’t wait to show you at the end of the month so you got them early. We are making the fronts to fit on a Kaiser cards so these card fronts measure about 9x13 cm. I hope that you like them.

Here is Malcolm Milk Truck up close.

I wanted to Malcolm Milk Truck first because when I saw him it took me back to when my gorgeous son watched a video constantly when he was little about a dairy farm and having the milk truck come in to get the milk. Plus my Dad was a milk vendor, you know they are a thing of the past now as you don’t get the milk man coming to your door anymore. So that is why you have Malcolm first.

The female birthday card is using the Stampin’ Up set Bloomin’ with Beauty. I just love this set but I am a flower type of girl. You may notice if you know the set I used it on the candles and the notebooks that I showed you in my previous post.

Here is the card up close.

On Friday night SBT50 had their Party to the Max Cyber Crop launch for August. On the night we got 2 projects to do and post before midnight. We had a male card to reproduce and a bow. We could do a small bow as well but I needed to get to be so I opted for the card and the large bow. They were both so easy to do and thanks to Vicki and Sue for finding them. And don’t forget to go and visit SBT50 to have a look at what we all came up with. We should not be short of a Father’s Day card this year and all our presents should now have a lovely bow on top of them. Vicki and Sue found the idea for this card at Mel Stampz.

Vicki and Sue found the instructions for the bow here so go and check them out so that you can have a go as well.

Well I thank you for stopping by and I should be back soon with my first project on Sunshine’s design team with her digital stamps.

Take Care and thanks for stopping by and having a look.
