Welcome to the Art With Heart Team Creative Showcase. This week the team are featuring projects using their favourite products from the new Stampin’ Up! 2020-21 Catalogue. The new catalogue is full of amazing new stamp sets, some bundled with dies or punches. The range of kits, papers and accessories complete the range of products you will see featured in this Showcase.
Ok you had me at BOX!!!!
When ever there is a kit in a box I am there! I love them! Ok Blackberry bliss being the main colour didn't hurt either!
You guessed it I am talking about the Gorgeous Posies Project Kit.
Look at this gorgeous box! You get all the card bases, card front designs, die cuts, embellishments, ribbons, envelopes to make 16 cards in this lovely box. Buy it just for the box!!! Then buy the stamp set and adhesive to finish off the cards! Perfect!
Here are the card as the directions in the kit suggest to make the cards.
Most of you would know by now that Blackberry Bliss is one of my favourite Stampin' Up! colours of all time and I have been around Stampin' Up! for a long time now, since back in the 90's when I lived in Minneapolis. So that is another reason why I was drawn to this kit
So because of my love of Blackberry bliss, another thing you can do with the card fronts in this kit is put them on your own coordinating card base.
I did mix it up a little and turn the card front up the other way to give it a slightly different look as well.
So now that you have made up all of your 16 cards, you have your stamp set, you can now make a card using the gorgeous colours from the cards as an inspiration.
I have used the kit to inspire this card. I have cute a piece of Whisper white card and stamped the beautiful distinctive stamps to create my own flower arrangement. I also used some gold emboss powder for the centre of the blackberry bliss flower to add the bling and compliment the gold foil. I must make a confession that when I was stamping the flower arrangement and masking off the flowers to put in my leaves and little twigs it all of a sudden dawned on me that they weren't twigs at all but the veins of the leaves. 😂😂 Well guess what you can use them for both!
Here are the three cards that use the beautiful sentiment, "For a very kind and thoughtful friend". I would get the stamp set alone just for the sentiments. One card is exactly as the kit suggest, one card is the kit with a slight twist, one card is using the stamp set with inspiration from the kit.
All the products will be listed at the end of the post. Hope you have enjoyed a look into one of the kits and there is so much more gorgeousness in this new catalogue, this is only page 8!
Please head over to the next Art With Heart team member to showcase their new catalogue project. I always love to see and be inspired by what Tina Gillespie has to share.

Ooh, Sharon - just simply gorgeous cards! And thank you for highlighting this gorgeous kit too, as I hadn't really taken a lot of notice. I might need to get the catalogue out again! (wink wink).
